I never like to set too detailed a plan for each horse; as everyone knows you can never look too far ahead where horses are concerned, but my rough plan for the 2010 season is as follows:
One or two four year classes and some BYEH classes then turned away for summer.
Possibly one or two four year classes and some BYEH classes towards the end of the season if he is ready.
A few Intermediates to start with at Isleham, Lincoln and Weston. Hoping (dreaming & praying) to do an Advanced early season while the ground is still good. This was going to be Witton but as it was cancelled we re-routed to Somerley Park CIC 2*, so perhaps Withington will be our first Advanced. Aiming for a CIC 3* Houghton or Chatsworth or Bramham. Then Barbary, Gatcombe Championships and we can dream about Blenheim or settle for another go at Hartpury CCI 2*!
Continuing with BE100 to get him established at this level.
Continuing his education with lots of low key shows.
